Hey, what's that? A new car! Hum..., we're talking about the grey Volvo, but I have to admit she's in good company.

Something I kept myself busy with, while I was away from the car: dialswap.

And yes, there are LED's behind the dials!

This is how it looks, once assembled. Nice glow, huh...

Another project I thought was fun to do: Audi-style LED-strips along the headlights and blue LED's behind the reflector. Homemade, I will probably write a tutorial about it so no this is about all I show here.

Due to a little accident I had, the Luxeon LED's in the bumper broke so I had to come up with something different. These "daylight driving led lights" come from The States, I built them in some grilles meant to bring cool air to the gearbox (for the automatic gearboxes).

Accidentally, I ran into this chair: a used but in pretty good nick Recaro seat. It was so dirt cheap I couldn't let it go.

Mounted into the car, on the original Volvo-rails. I had these rails on spare, from the now dismantled white car. They fit surprisingly well under the chair!

An overview of the cabin, pretty standard dashboard except for the dials and the sports steer. The console between the chairs turned out to be not quite well, so I remade that. This is the old one; more about the new one later.

The pedals, with EL-foil in the leftmost two. I have an accellerator version as well, but it's too wide and the screws hook into the carpet so I made a smaller one myself. No glow there, though...
