LEDspots
Assembly
Now we have made all the parts of the spot, we can assemble it. This is really easy:
-Push the wire through the spot part until the LED is right at the edge of the metal tube.
-Push the M3 thread gently through the holes in the spot part, ensuring the wire is not in the way. Help it a hand by turning the thread, so it will wind itself in.
-Now push the LED into the tube, helping it by pulling the wires on the other end and using the M3 thread as a lever. When the top of the LED is flush with the tube, push the thread through.
-put some glue into the back end of the spot, and try to get it in deep. This will keep the wires in place, and makes a nice end cap. Make sure the back end looks nice and smooth. Then let it dry until all of the glue is dried up.

-put one bushing over the M4 bolt, and put the bolt through the bracket so, that the head is between the legs of the bracket, and the thread is sticking out.
-Put another ring over the thread

-Place the 15mm piece of aluminium tube over the thread.

-Drill a 4.5mm hole on the spot where you want your spot, and put the remaining end of the bolt through the hole. Drill a smaller hole right behind the first one, and run the wire through it.

-Place the bigger M4 bushing over the thread on the other side of the panel you just drilled your hole in, and put on the self retaining screw. If you are certain of the position, and not so certain of the grip of the nut, use a bit of loctite for this. Make the fit tight, else your light will be dancing through the car while you are driving.
-Fit one of the capped nuts loosely over the piece of M3 thread, and put the thread from the outside through the first hole of the bracket.
-Next, place a nylon bushing over the thread, put the thread through your spot while securing the wire so it can't be damaged by the thread, place a second nylon bushing, put the thread through the second hole of the bracket, and place the other capped nut. Tighten this as well, use a bit of loctite on both nuts for securing it all.
To finish it off, fill up the back end of the spot tube with hotglue or something like it, and make it nice and smooth.
Then, hook up the wiring via a switch or via your interior lighting, test it, and you're done.

Congratulations! You have just finished your first spot!
