picture This is not a poorly shot picture, it is actually a photo of my engine compartment, after I painted it black ;-)

picture The door panels, you'll see these again a couple of times from now on.

picture My dashboard, temporarily on the roof of the car (huh?), but that's just because I am still busy on it. You'll get a nice idea, though, about how it should be going to look like.

picture Once again, an overview of the dash. Starts to look like a dash now, doesn't it?

picture At last, the finishing touch to the center console has arrived! Now I only have to mount it to the console, and fix some blue LED's behind it, for show purposes. The two switches in the panel are for interior lighting intensity, and the rear window heating.

picture Ah, I always wanted to have this: an electrical extracting antenna! Zooms up when I start up my radio. It fits exactly into the front left wing.

picture Another look behind the dashboard, here you see the circuitry I made for the alarm lights as I discovered it might not be so clever to switch them with the same circuit as my lights (no power when the contact is off...)

picture I want everything safe, so I mounted a fusebox on a plastic plate, which is mounted to my chassis. The plastic prevents the fusebox itself to short-circuit against the chassis. The cable feeding the fusebox is 25 square millimeter, thick enough to supply about 5 of these boxes! And because the cable is too long to be unprotected, it will be protected by a 60Amp glassfuse, directly after leaving the batteryclamp. Safety first! (and also because it is a rule of EMMA, the European Mobile Music Association... and I might want to enter one or two Sound Quality games, so this has to be CORRECT! But again, own safety is most important.)

picture A last view on my left hand front wing, showing the drainpipe of the antenna, and also showing the loads of primer applied to the panel! Rust, stay out of here! Muhaha!

picture This picture shows the "volvo" panel I made, with the two switches in place, and the blue LED's that will be lighting it from the back. It's a bit of a mess there, I know, but that will be solved in due time.
