Here you can see how the additional cabling comes into the passenger compartment, from out of the engine bay. Lots of tape used to cover the soldering joints, to prevent it from short-circuiting.

I connected the lighting of the three gauges, and of course the voltmeter, and again covered the joint with plenty of tape. These gauges will get their own fuse, and will be switched on and off by a relay which will be driven by the contact wire.

This is the connector which will connect the blower to its circuitry. once again, much tape. Starts to get boring to tell...

The backside of the dashboard, quite cramped in there, but you can see there is some logic in it. Bit by bit, I am connecting everything now, so there should come some order in it in the end.

On with the door panels, I have started furnishing them. This is the left hand side panel, top already done with a nice blue plastic fabric.

Both panels on the table, one step further than on the last image. Now a bit of black fabric has been added as well.

A quick look of the left-hand side panel in the car, I was soooo damn curious about how it would look ;-) I think it is reeeeeally neat!

Glued the covering plates for the speaker opening in place, and also used some screws. Probably I will add some ribs on the inside later on, to obtain a greater stiffness, and by that a better sound quality!

These are my new sillprotectors, made from two pieces of aluminium stair protector strips (fits exactly!) and a set of universal lighted strips, glued on top of that.

An overview of the cabling and the fusebox/relays as it is now. The relays are glued to the bottom of the fusebox holder, and taped off for additional strength.
